Step 1: Open the Identity Verification page
In the AIFIAN App, tap Account in the bottom-right corner, then select Identity Verification.
Step 2: Choose your ID issuing place and ID type
💡 If you previously verified your phone number with a Taiwan (+886) number and purchased AI Select, identity verification only supports Taiwan-issued IDs (National ID Card / Resident Certificate). If you haven't made a purchase yet, you can choose Taiwan, US, or China-issued IDs.
Users who purchased after phone verification（+886）
No need to select an ID issuing place — you can choose Phone Verification or Document Verification directly

Step 3: Complete verification
If you choose Phone Verification:
Select your carrier > enter your phone number, name, and National ID number.
The system matches this against your carrier's records — verification usually completes in about 30 seconds, with no need to photograph or upload any ID.
💡 Before using Phone Verification, please turn off WiFi and switch to 4G / 5G mobile data. Verification cannot be completed over WiFi.
If verification fails:
Name or National ID number doesn't match carrier records: you can retry up to 2 more times within 24 hours; after 3 failed attempts, you'll be guided to Document Verification instead.
Unsupported phone plan type (prepaid, family plans, foreign numbers, corporate lines, MVNOs, etc.): you'll be guided directly to Document Verification.
If you choose Document Verification:
Use the original ID that is still within its validity period (do not upload copies or photos of an ID photo).
Make sure the document details are clear, without glare, blur, or obstruction.
Follow the on-screen prompts to take your ID photo, enter your information exactly as shown on your ID, then tap Continue.
Step 4: Wait for the result
Phone Verification: Instant — results in about 30 seconds.
Document Verification: Manual review, usually 1–3 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays). You can view the result via Email or on the Account page in the App. If rejected, please follow the instructions in the Email or App to re-upload your ID.
